    Sofia Klimkowski Arango is a multidisciplinary artist from Greenville South Carolina, currently based in Baltimore Maryland. Their work spans the breadth of weaving, sculpture, photography, and biology. They are driven by process oriented exploration and the intersections of craft and technology. They live in a world found between mosquito bites, dense smelling rain, and orange sunsets over blue mountains.

Tromp

I hear him tromp, tromp, tromp over leaves in his way,

But when I go to snag the last glimpse of his white-tipped tail,

Blue has long since wandered into my grandfather’s woods

Weaving between limbs until I wonder about him no more. 

Both just a remembrance in grief of where I am

Trying to find dogs long dead and forests almost forgotten.
